The Four Noble Truths
Suffering is due to attachment;
Attachment can be overcome;
be wise , use in moderation.
I have promised God that I will live my life differently.
I admit my own shortcoming as a person.
And from now on, I will start to live with an open heart and humbleness to change.
I will leave all bad things I have done in my past and repent.
I have forgiven myself, and I hope people could forgive me.
I have never needed anyone when I stand strong for what I believe.
But there will be time when I hated everything in me.
and I have nothing but regret and desperation.
That is when I need people to ensure me that I deserve to be loved.
Even when I stop loving myself.
Who will be there for me then?
Who will be there for you then?
It’s been three years since the first time I left home,
but the thought of going back to Singapore still make me depressed.
I get scared that the people whom I love might get used to not having me around.
One more year to go.
On one Zen meditation a pupil shouted "Look , the flag moves!".
The senior pupil tell him " It’s not the flag, it’s the wind that moves!"
The Zen master said "Neither the flag nor the wind moves,
it’s your heart that moves.
I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain.
Everything in life is an illusion.
One of my friends once said:
The first step to help the poor is
not to be poor yourself.
