That’s what friends do
This is one of my favorite movie quotes from the animation movie Shrek:
DONKEY: Uh-uh. You know you was always me, me, me.
Well guess what? Now it’s my turn. So you just shut up and pay attention!
You are mean to me.
You insult me, and you don’t appreciate anything that I do.
You’re always pushing me around, or pushing me away!
SHREK: Oh yah? Well if I treated you so bad, how come you came back?
DONKEY: Because that’s what friends do! They forgive each other!
I told one of my closest friends today that human relationship is a process.
When we get really close with other human beings ,
there will definitely be time when we stand against each other interests.
But real friendship should stand tall through all this changes of feelings and emotion.
I might become envy or jealous of my best friend and hate one of them at time,
I might scream and yell at them one day,
I might stupidly fall in love with one of my best guy friends and mess up everything.
But I guess after all the feelings subside,real friends will stand by one another and forgive , because that is what friends are for.
