The wisdom of love
Do you know what is the actual meaning of the science of thoughts; philosophy?
Philosphy come from two Greek words,
philos which means love
and sophos or sophia , which means wisdom.
So in short, philosophy means the wisdom of love or the love of wisdom.
One famous philosopher once stated that love is an affection we feel towards the things that brings meaning to our life.
So the word love in philosophy put it as a discipline that is suppose to address the meaning of life as its objective.
Early scientist realized that there is only one thing that brings meaning to life: truth.
God and God only is Truth.
The path of seeking for truth leads them to study the manifestation of God: human thoughts.
Wisdom, thoughts, knowledge, faith, and humanity are the objects of philosophy, the wisdom of love.
So here it comes, philosophy, the wisdom of love, or the love of wisdom,
It is the study of human thoughts, the only truth that brings meaning to life.
Everything else is illusion.
