as I am listening to this song ” Love of My life” by one of
British legendary band “Queen”,
it occurred to me that this song is actually written by a gay guy.
I start to wonder if the romantic love between gay couples is the same form as the straight relationships.
If so, then the people who are praising and making such a sweet image of romantic boy and girl relationship should not reject gay people.
Well people in the past might mate to reproduce.
But people nowadays are not like animal.
None of us get married to multiply and fill the earth with our offsprings.
We are looking for a soul mate, someone we can share our life with.
Someone we can communicate, connect, and share our vision with.
For some people, the one and only soul who can connect and understand them are from the same gender.
If love is about heart and soul, then I am 100% supportive about homosexual relationship.
Just an opinion. What do you guys think?

The problem with homosexuality is that love is often associated with sex. And such profane and low interpretation of love has often recognized as the reason why homosexuality is not highly accepted in the society; simply because it brings to the very eye of humanity the fact that we are all “animal”.
But, if love is truly about about connection, understanding, acceptance, and not about lust, I agree that we should at least try to accept homosexuality in our society.
I support the view of the Catholic Church about homosexuality. The Church does not oppose homosexuals, she embraces them with her motherly love. She opposes the very act of homosexuality: sodomy, pre-marital sex, etc. Homosexuals are called to live in chastity.
I agree with Dhika , but I always wonder how can people realize that they are homosexual?
I mean usually even for normal couple , it is a bit difficult to be certain about love. But when a couple get into a relationship, they will fit into the roles of being couple. And after years of being together , love will grow.
How do this apply to homosexual couples?
